Head of District OFR Operations-上海
Job Purpose
Manage, control and develop the Ocean Freight (OFR) export , import , clearance operational activities under trade lane in accordance with the group business strategy and local business environment to deliver maximum profit and optimize business assets and human resources.
Key Accountabilities
Main Accountabilities:
1. Responsible for operational result at branch level
2. Defines, monitors and enforces targets to the operational units
3. Select and assigns key positions to reach targets
4. Analyses costs and cost structure of production and derives improvement measurements and actions
5. Responsible for constant improvement and optimization of production means (cost management), e.g. make or buy
6. Ensure adherence to ISO standards
7. Manage operation and service excellence
8. Ensure operations comply with local regulations
9. Undertake operational activities that contributes to Operational KPIs
10. Proposes IT needs
11. To generate reports and analysis the overall service quality. Present it to all stakeholders for further evaluation or decision making
12. To coordinate and analyse the collective root cause of the problem and provide recommendations to internal stakeholder/s for further evaluation or implementation
13. Support District Head to manage OFR operations and provide District Head with updates on operational issues
Finance & Projects:
1. Coordinate/liaise/work with suppliers on operational activities, issue resolution, process execution and performance improvements according to corporate policy
2. Ensuring all communication channels are open with all internal departments/teams
3. Work with FICO to ensure overall billing accuracy and on-time invoicing
People Management:
1. Determine organization structure, roles and responsibility and performance targets for the function
2. Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department
3. Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team
4. Plan, organize and direct and efficient and effective functional department
5. Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance
Requirements
Divisional Experience:
1. Good knowledge about DHL business
2. Good knowledge of international trade
3. Basic knowledge of logistic
4. Good knowledge of ocean documentation flow& requirement worldwide
5. Basic knowledge of law and government regulation related to business
6. Good understanding to DGF O-chart to align the internal cooperation
7. Excellent communication skills to tackle the customer complaints
8. Good knowledge on project management and process improvement
9. Good understanding to financial reports
10. Good knowledge of customs clearance procedure & government regulation
